Continuous Professional Development for Staff Key Roles in Improving Professionalism in the Faculty of Creativity and Enterprise

The study seeks to assess the role of continuous professional development in improving teaching in the Faculty of Creativity and Enterprise. There are different theories and methods for ensuring professionalism within schools which can be a one-time training or a continuous development approach. The research seeks to establish the best approach for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in teaching practice and how it affects the overall education in an international secondary school. The study will assess school based and networked CPD in the Faculty of Creative and Enterprise as well as the impact of professionalism in learning in the faculty. The study will be conducted in an international secondary school, an international school located in Al Ain City in the UAE to assess gaps in CPD and approaches of promoting CPD in the Faculty of Creative and Enterprise. Since I was appointed Head of Faculty in managing six different subjects that are Drama, ICT, D&T, Music, Business Studies and Economics, I have found that maintaining a diverse staff require a high level of professionalism on the part of the leader which can influence other stakeholders professionalism. Please note that I will be conducting the interviews in September and all data will be uploaded and you will need to use Nvivo to code the data and show analyses in the assignment with concrete critical analysis based in the literature review. You need to use Nvivo for this assignment as we need to show coding.
